This community has been a big help to me and others in solving issues with code that have us stumped at work or at school etcetera. As such we have to present the problem and explain it clearly and concisely to those on the board that wish to help. However from time to time I noticed and I have been guilty of myself not being as clear the first time around and this leads to the frustration of the replying posters. But sometimes on the other end I have been exceedingly clear but on both ends of the spectrum and the problem solver looking to the solution although we can only go by what is written and not tone.. sometimes the repsonses given back are of a condescending and arrogant nature even if the at the meat of it the solution or help is provided. Now someone in coding has be humble or humble themselves to ask for help rather than sink as opposing to swim and I am aware that the person responding his taking his or her valuable time in answering/ researching a solution but in the past I have seen this escalate to uneccesary proportions.
My point is if all else fails be courteous as a ruile of thumb. If you are intelligent enough to have deduced what the problem is and have solved it isn't neccesary to rub the person's face in it and make them feel small and insignificant. And vice versa when asking for help to be kind to the posters taking the time to help rather than lash out in similar frustration and arrogance. Put yourself in the other person's shoes and ask yourself if you would like to be responded to in such as a manner and think about it before posting.
